Time Out for Women

Getting a photo with Hilary Weeks
This past weekend I had the great opportunity to go to Nashville for "Time Out for Women" which is hosted by Deseret Book. I went with some wonderful friends: Natalie, Janelle, Ashley, Brinn and Ashley. The day started at 4:30am waking up to get ready for the 2.5 hour drive down there. We all piled in Brinn's van and of course she came prepared with bagels, juice ect. It was nice having the chance to spend some quality time with my girlfriends. As you know with 6 girls, we never ran out of things to talk about. The event was really amazing. It was spiritually uplifting which is something I was in need of. Hilary Weeks was the musical guest and she was making us cry the whole time. She has a great voice and sings with conviction. I would recommend the song "Just Cry" off her new CD. I am grateful I had the chance to go and I am planning on going again! It will be in Cincinnati in the Spring for whoever wants to come with me :-)

Chelsea, so fun to hear from you. I was trying to figure out who the Meyers were, since I know you better as a Palmer. your little guy is so cute. I'm still trying to figure out how to attach people to my blog so I can check their blogs. We just had Birthday Lunch with Justin and Kira for Justin's Birthday. It was fun!! We're glad to have them so close now.

Chelsea! I almost went! So many women from my ward went, but I had to pass on this one because I have been making lots of trips back to see my grandmother lately and I feel a little guilty leaving all the kids with Nathan so much. Anyway, I am so excited it is going to be in Cincinnati next. I will have no excuses then and I will get to see so many of you guys again. You, and whoever else wants to, can totally stay at my house. I am an awesome hostess :)

Time Out for Women is always so fun. I went a couple years ago while living in Michigan. You gotta go expecting to cry, or they haven't done their job. It looks like you all had a really fun time. We sure miss ya'll.
